We partner with the community to support the people and places advancing equity and economic well-being for everyone in Northeast Wisconsin.
The Basic Needs Giving Partnership invests in local and regional solutions that address the root causes of poverty. Our grants aim to support organizations providing services that are responsive to the current needs of our community and authentic collaborative initiatives that are working to disrupt the policies, practices, and systems that hold poverty in place.
Our 2024 grantmaking will focus on the Foundations to Thrive priorities of
early care and education (birth to 5), housing access, mental health, and substance use.

These grants support projects addressing the root causes of pressing challenges by transforming policies, systems, and mindsets to create stronger, thriving, and more equitable communities.
2023 single-year grants were awarded to organizations working in our “Foundations to Thrive” focus area, specifically in housing access, early care and education, and mental health and substance use.
