We are excited to announce the recipients of the Basic Needs Giving Partnership’s 2024 multi-year grant awards!

We are investing $2.85 million in three-year grants to 12 community partners working to advance systems change efforts across Northeast Wisconsin. Funding supports collaborative projects working toward long-lasting, equitable solutions to deep-seated community challenges in the areas of early care education, housing access, mental health, and substance use.

Investments span the rural, urban, and suburban areas of our region and reflect a combination of existing and emerging efforts. Priority was given to initiatives with collaborative, cross-sector partnerships that center the voice and leadership of those most impacted by the challenges that the project aims to address. These projects will work to impact the root causes of pressing challenges within the grant priority areas by transforming policies, systems, and mindsets to create stronger, thriving, and more equitable communities.

The Basic Needs Giving Partnership’s grantmaking is made possible by funds raised through the annual U.S. Venture Open. We are thrilled to celebrate the success of the 2024 U.S. Venture Open, raising $4.825 million with 100% of every dollar invested back into the region to end poverty.

Please join us in extending a heartfelt congratulations to each of the awarded initiatives. We look forward to supporting these community-driven efforts over the next three years.

With gratitude,
